These unique nalbinding needle are forged out of steel at the anvil using traditional methods. Nalbinding needles need to be perfectly smooth, so great care is taken to minimize forge scale build up while being forged. Then after its forged it is heavily polished to finish smoothing it out. Once it’s all smooth, it goes back in the forge to get it hot enough for a beeswax finish. The re-heating process makes the needle have gold, and blue hues. They are available with either one hole or two holes.
