Hello,

My name is Carolyn and I am the sole blacksmith at Evergreen Forgeworks. I began forging as a way to cope with my mental health struggles. What began as a coping skill became a passion, and the desire to turn this into my profession emerged. I work out of a relatively small shop, with more traditional tools. I enjoy taking hard, rigid, cold steel and making it into something beautiful and functional. Blacksmithing saved my life and it is a tremendous honor to dedicate my life to this remarkable and ancient craft.
